Barbara has lived in the Reidsville area most of her life, and she loves to introduce newcomers to the special attractions in the community: good schools, prosperous businesses, and friendly neighborhoods. Barbara is married to attorney Jess Moore. They have three children; John, Mary and Carolyn. John is a graduate of UNC and has a MBA from University of Arkansas. Mary is a graduate of UNC, Phi Beta Kappa and has a graduate degree from Harvard. Carolyn is a graduate of William and Mary.

A History of Growth

In 1972, Barbara began her real estate business by renting a room from an insurance company in a charming old house on Main Street in Reidsville, NC. A year later, she purchased the building. Today, more than 35 years later, Town & Country is a fully computerized real estate company that has facilitated the sales of thousands of homes and hundreds of thousand of acres.
